Agit Kabayel (30 years old, 22 wins (14 KO’s) in 22 fights), unbeaten and already European Heavyweight Champion from 2017 to 2019, is currently among the top 11 in the world rankings of three boxing federations (IBF #8 / WBO #11 / WBA #13). With a win, it would then be the second title conquest of this EBU European Heavyweight Championship title for Agit Kabayel, which he defended three times as title holder, including against Derek Chisora!

The Bochum “Ruhrpott-Junge” Agit Kabayel was born in Leverkusen in 1992, has lived in Bochum-Wattenscheid since his childhood and is coached, among others, in Düsseldorf by his long-time trainer Sükrü Aksu. The SES heavyweight, who has been promoted by SES Boxing since the beginning of 2016, has been regarded by international boxing experts in recent years as the great German hope for the world heavyweight title.

Agit Kabayel: “I have this great anticipation, this impatience, I feel it in my entire environment. All of Bochum is looking forward to this duel for this great title. At 30 years old, I am a whole man and an “adult” heavyweight. On Saturday, it’s finally time to get down to business in the ring!”

Agron Smakici: “My preparation was still top despite the the relocation. I still have a score to settle with Germany. I will get the European Championship title – also as a satisfaction for my worse experiences as a boxer in this country. Also for Jürgen Blin, who as a former European champion always stood by my side in Hamburg. His ring, a gift, and the memory of a great man will be an additional motivation for me to secure the victory here. So it will also be my positive comeback in Germany!”
