In a cooperation with Iconic Promotion Dubai, Diamondboy Promotion and EC Boxing, one week before Christmas Eve, Charr will take on Browne in a fight for the titles of the 4 boxing world federations WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF. Which exactly are meant by this, however, remains open. The venue is to be the arena “The Space” in Dubai. You can watch the fight LIVE on FITE TV

A total of 8 fights are planned for this evening. Among others, Viktor Faust (10-0, 7 knockouts), Charr’s teammate at EC Boxing, is also scheduled to enter the ring. Another super featherweight title fight is scheduled to be contested between Australian Paul Fleming (28-0-1, 18 knockouts) and Frenchman Samir Ziani (33-3-1, 8 knockouts). According to the report, this is just Charr’s first test bout in the long-term collaboration between Erol Ceylan and Iconic Promotion Dubai.

Charr, former “regular” WBA heavyweight champion, said, “I am very proud to compete in my first fight under the ‘United Arab Emirates’ flag. I’m going to get 4 titles that night and place myself in all 4 federations again and then bring Joshua and Fury to Abu Dhabi next year. When one door closes, two new ones open. Never let it get you down.”

Charr’s promoter Erol Ceylan is also very happy for his protégé: “A Mahmoud Charr holds on to his dreams. Even if there is now another stopover to the way to the top of the world, Mahmoud goes his way.”
